Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg community knew that they would never go back. Ashley was 17 and hadn't had a boyfriend so Andrew and Ashley took things very slow. It was romance at first sight. The day before New Day, right ahead of the year's beginning, Andrew wanted God to grant him one more thing in the year... in the hope that Ashley would accept and marry Andrew. Ashley was looking for a rustic folk-themed wedding that truly represented her as well as Andrew. Their wedding day included the many things they love. Ashley was a child on the 40-acre property that was chosen for the wedding venue. Ashley played and explored throughout the entire land, even the paths they had taken to reach the spot. Andrew and Ashley had also walked in this spot several times since they began dating. The couple did most of the DIY, so personalization is important. Ashley created and painted many of the decorations, and Andrew and Ashley's dad created the ceremony seating and arch. Ashley states, "Our wedding would not be the unforgettable experience that I had always envisioned if Anna's beautiful flowers hadn't been put in place." Simply stunning.
